I used the names of my characters from Revin's Heart to name the computers my students are using for class. I get a kick everyting I hear them say Lidja, Griphon, etc. I haven't yet heard the poor student that got Momoire.

Revin studied Momo's #pale face in the dim light. Her eyelashes were so long. She murmured in her sleep & shifted position. He gently stroked her hair as she snuggled up against him & relaxed back into sleep. Revin smiled, closed his eyes, & drifted off to sleep himself.

Zaza accepted it & passed a note to the man.

David shuffled forward while the girls shrieked & jumped.

David turned on the light and the Better Angels, that were surrounding his bed, drew back, shading their eyes, and hissing.
"Halloween's not 'til next month," he said.

Revin awoke to find someone pressed up against his back. He turned over. Bathed in the #lambent glow of the coal grate, he perceived the features of the Queen, her eyes filled with tears.
"I had a bad dream, my hero," she sobbed. "Please hold me!"
Revin pulled her close.

I can now state with some confidence that I did not catch COVID-19 while at, or travelling to and from, #chicon8. Thanks to the organizers and participants who diligently masked during the event.
The music came to an abrupt #end & David started toward the last empty chair. Zaza pretended to race him, but let him win.
"Oh, no! I'm out!" she squealed.
David sat on the tiny chair as the Better Angels cheered.
"David wins again!"
They made sure David won every time.
