The students all wore matching uniforms & all had black hair with one dissonant note: one girl had shocking pink hair. The teacher scowled.

By early morning, the paralysis had worn off & she had become #torpid in the cool temperatures. He gently shook off her coils & cautiously tiptoed away. Just as he prepared to make a run for it, her tail snaked out & caught his ankle.

Rory put on his special sunglasses. It was the biggest demon he had ever seen.
It materialized as a nobleman with a regal jacket, holding an orb.
It gestured at Rory. Tseluna sprang in front.
"This familiar is #mine!" she said.

David went into the galley & found a frightful mess. All of the pans were dirty. A dark #molten substance had splashed & splattered nearly every surface.
"Angels! What happened in here?"
They filed in.
"Happy Valentines, David" Zaza said handing him a bag of chocolates.

Mary circled around the poachers in wolf form then transformed behind an immense ostrich fern & stepped through the fronds. They jumped with surprise. One pointed his gun at Mary only to have her casually twist it out of his grasp.
"You're trespassing," she said.

Rory heard a whine next to his ear, followed by a distant report.
"High-powered rifle," Tseluna subvocalized. "Raise your shield. Tune for kinetic energy."
Rory silently #cast the spell. A next shot glanced off.
Then she teleported them to either side of the rifleman.

"Just who are you?"
Momo cast her eyes down, made a bob, & said, "Momo Relsing, if you please, Milord."
Revin's ears perked up. Momo had borrowed Lidja's name & was imitating her speech patterns too.

Aimee screamed burying her head in her arms as the fireball struck. Velurri managed to bring up a shield & it splashed off leaving them #unscathed. He grabbed her, opened a dimensional portal, & carried her through. When she opened her eyes, they were back in the tunnel.
