Aimee screamed burying her head in her arms as the fireball struck. Velurri managed to bring up a shield & it splashed off leaving them #unscathed. He grabbed her, opened a dimensional portal, & carried her through. When she opened her eyes, they were back in the tunnel.

If you haven't noticed, the Right has been strangling public schools for funding while hobbling them with evaluation systems that make it hard to genuinely educate students. And as parents get increasingly dissatisfied, we're approaching their goal of abolishing them altogether.
My fortune cookie said, "A romantic evening awaits you tonight."

"Let me hold your hand, David!" Zaza said. David held his hand out.
"No fair! No fair!" the other Angels shrieked.
"Here!" David said. "You can each have a finger."
They set off in a crowd contentedly.
After two steps Zaza said. "I have a thumb!"

David sighed.
Lindsey sat on a dry patch while #water trickled down the face of the rocks, over moss, & into the little pool. In summer, the dell was glorious, but now it was chilly. She shivered.
"Here, my love," the dryad said, slipping a cloak of autumn leaves over her shoulders.
