I'm excited about the "Relaxing Reads" #Chicon8 panel: My world was enlarged when I discovered "slice of life" manga & anime, but I so rarely see the same kinds of stories being told in the West. I can't wait to see what I'll learn on the panel. It's going to be fascinating!
There was really only one #Chicon8 panel that I had wanted to do that I did NOT get selected for: the one about K-pop and gender. But given that my only real qualification is having a crush on Chaeyoung, it's probably reasonable that I was not selected. Sorry, Chaeyoung!

I just got my #Chicon8 schedule. Boy, am I going to be busy! I'm moderating three panels, serving on two more as a panelist, holding a reading & "table talk", and helping run a workshop with the legendary @CometaryTales. If I survive, I should probably have my head examined. :-)
